2009 Challenge, day 317 : THE CAMERA

Today is Wednesday, November 13th, 2009. Today’s theme for the 2009 Challenge is THE CAMERA.

Ok, yesterday we shot the cameraman/camerawoman, so today we’re gonna shoot the camera. “What?!” you ask. Yup, your camera!

The easiest method will be to simply use another camera. But if you don’t have one or access to one, then you’re gonna need to get creative. (hint, hint, try a mirror.)

Quick point though, I do NOT want to see you, or any other person in the shot. Oh, I also want your subject to be your regular camera. So if you normally shoot with a 5d mkII or a D300, that’s what I want to see.

Oh, and another thing, try not to blog with your mobile phone or iPod touch. It’s a nightmare!

Once you’re ready to submit your work to Flickr, you’ve got to do two important things. First, make sure you tag your photos correctly; “2009challenge” and “2009challenge317“. Also, if you haven’t already, join the PhotoChallenge group on Flickr. Then, submit each day’s photo to the group’s pool.

About Steve Troletti

I'm a Location Scout, Editorial, Nature, Wildlife and Environmental Photographer based in Malibu, California. I specialize in Nature and Urban Nature photography including Infrared Landscapes. The Bulk of my work takes place in the Los Angeles, California area, Greater Montreal Region, Canada, Switzerland, France and Varese in Northern Italy. Ethical wildlife photography is the main priority and focus of my work. A minimum disturbance of the animals, their habitat and the environment is my top priority. This applies as much to total wilderness areas as it does to urban nature environments. Ongoing education of environmental issues and building awareness for the protection of wildlife and wilderness areas around the world is what drives me to document the beauty that surrounds us.
