This week we have a special Photo Challenge contributed by Peter Randall, entitled Rust Photography.
This week’s challenge should be fun, creative and freestyling.
Rust is a reddish- or yellowish-brown flaking coating of iron oxide that is formed on iron or steel by oxidation, especially in the presence of moisture
Now the colours this process produces are warm and welcoming with amazing textures. The Rust produces different sensations on the eye as a result of the way it reflects or emits light.
I always admire those photographs of really old Rusty cars & vehicles. You would be very fortunate to find one in the UK.
Think textures & patterns, I normally find getting in close emphasizing the chemical process leading to transformation of metal to Rust. So lets get close up, macro or your way. Don’t be scared to experiment bring it on and show me a new method because there’s always a new approach to be brought to the table. Oh and by the way raindrops could add another dimension to your Image.
As always lets take a look at some examples in this instance some of my photographic collection
