Last week we shot fire, so this week we shoot the opposite: Water.
Water is a very versatile part of a composition. It is a good reflector, especially if you can find a calm pond or puddle. This also makes it pair nicely with a sunset.
Moving water, such as a river, ocean waves, or waterfall, is a good choice for long exposure photography. A longer exposure will soften the flowing water, making it look like something from a dream.
Water also lends itself to macro photography. Water droplets on a flower are always interesting. And a small drop of water can act like a lens, focusing things that are behind it.
