2009 Challenge, Day 186: Truck Week: TRUCK NOSE

"Semi-Truck", by calebunseth

Today is Sunday, July 5th, 2009. This week we’ll be focusing on a “Semi Truck” theme all week. What’s a semi-truck? Well, sometimes they’re referred to as tractor-trailers. In the US, they’re the primary method of transporting goods around the nation. Along with trains, that’s how we get our stuff. They’re everywhere! Today’s theme for the 2009 Challenge is TRUCK NOSE.

I want to see your interpretation of a semi-truck’s nose. You know, the front end of the cab.

Once you’re ready to submit your work to Flickr, you’ve got to do two important things. First, make sure you tag your photos correctly; “2009challenge″ and “2009challenge186“. Also, if you haven’t already, join the PhotoChallenge group on Flickr. Then, submit each day’s photo to the group’s pool.

About Steve Troletti

I'm a Location Scout, Editorial, Nature, Wildlife and Environmental Photographer based in Malibu, California. I specialize in Nature and Urban Nature photography including Infrared Landscapes. The Bulk of my work takes place in the Los Angeles, California area, Greater Montreal Region, Canada, Switzerland, France and Varese in Northern Italy. Ethical wildlife photography is the main priority and focus of my work. A minimum disturbance of the animals, their habitat and the environment is my top priority. This applies as much to total wilderness areas as it does to urban nature environments. Ongoing education of environmental issues and building awareness for the protection of wildlife and wilderness areas around the world is what drives me to document the beauty that surrounds us.
