2009 Challenge, Day 102: SACRIFICE

"Golden Gate National Cemetary", by Abe K

Today’s theme for the 2009 Challenge is Sacrifice. On this day, for many Christians, the idea of sacrifice is ever present. By no means do I seek to preach or instruct anyone in my personal beliefs. However, my personal beliefs constantly effect my art. So, as an artist, if we stretch ourselves, beyond what is normal for us, we grow. This makes us all better.

Once you’re ready to submit your work to Flickr, you’ve got to do two important things. First, make sure you tag your photos correctly; “2009challenge″ and “2009challenge102“. Also, if you haven’t already, join the PhotoChallenge group on Flickr. Then, submit each day’s photo to the group’s pool.

About Steve Troletti

I'm a Location Scout, Editorial, Nature, Wildlife and Environmental Photographer based in Malibu, California. I specialize in Nature and Urban Nature photography including Infrared Landscapes. The Bulk of my work takes place in the Los Angeles, California area, Greater Montreal Region, Canada, Switzerland, France and Varese in Northern Italy. Ethical wildlife photography is the main priority and focus of my work. A minimum disturbance of the animals, their habitat and the environment is my top priority. This applies as much to total wilderness areas as it does to urban nature environments. Ongoing education of environmental issues and building awareness for the protection of wildlife and wilderness areas around the world is what drives me to document the beauty that surrounds us.
