2009 Challenge, Day 89: CHILDREN

"Children's Day - II", by carf

Today’s theme for the 2009 Challenge is CHILDREN. If you save some of yesterday’s candy, it should be easy to photograph some children today. Capture today’s shot of children doing whatever it is they are doing normally. Don’t pose them up, making them uncomfortable. Let them do what they do, and photograph that! Child portraiture can be a wonderful source of income for the amateur and semi-pro photographer, so do it up right!

Once you’re ready to submit your work to Flickr, you’ve got to do two important things. First, make sure you tag your photos correctly; “2009challenge″ and “2009challenge89”. Also, if you haven’t already, join the PhotoChallenge group on Flickr. Then, submit each day’s photo to the group’s pool.

About Steve Troletti

I'm a Location Scout, Editorial, Nature, Wildlife and Environmental Photographer based in Malibu, California. I specialize in Nature and Urban Nature photography including Infrared Landscapes. The Bulk of my work takes place in the Los Angeles, California area, Greater Montreal Region, Canada, Switzerland, France and Varese in Northern Italy. Ethical wildlife photography is the main priority and focus of my work. A minimum disturbance of the animals, their habitat and the environment is my top priority. This applies as much to total wilderness areas as it does to urban nature environments. Ongoing education of environmental issues and building awareness for the protection of wildlife and wilderness areas around the world is what drives me to document the beauty that surrounds us.
