If there’s one thing about a home regardless of its age, set on a foundation, on wheels, or floating, there always seems to be something to do in order to upkeep the appearance and functionality of your home. That’s if you don’t decide to step it up a notch and enter into a home improvement project.
It can be outdoors such as painting your home’s exterior, changing out windows, repairing the roof, or simply upkeeping the landscaping with the seasons.
It doesn’t have to be your full-time home, maybe you have a cottage, an RV, or you’re taking on a DIY project to get an old camper in tip-top shape.
Maybe you chose to live on the water part-time on a floating house or boat. Just like a home, you get all the living quarters to maintain and the exterior of a boat without mentioning the engine(s) and mechanical and electrical systems. That might be why old boats and boathouses sell for cheap!
The finished product might just be your little oasis such as your dream bath room…
We all know the path to success may be hard work and maybe a little discouraging at times.
This week’s challenge summary:
Photograph something in need of maintenance or repair or being repaired in your home or alternative dwelling. It can be a series of images such as before and after or during the actual repair. For those who want to go a little further, a time-lapse of the home improvement project will make a great add-on.
The image can be taken and processed freely as per your creative process.
