Here we are, Week 20 already and Mother’s Day is upon us once again. Actually not for everyone, our friends in the United Kingdom and in France celebrate Mother’s Day on a different date.

This year it came more clearly to my attention that not everyone for their own personal reasons welcome Mother’s Day. Since we’re taking TWO very different approaches to Mother’s Day here at the Trevor Carpenter Photo Challenge, you’re going to have a choice as to which path you want to take. You can even take on both challenges and post TWO DIFFERENT IMAGES this WEEK.

We’re bringing back our TWO most popular Mother’s Day Week Photo Challenges and giving you the choice to do ONE or BOTH of them. If you can’t decide, we’ve set up a WHEEL to SPIN so that LADY LUCK can decide for you 🙂

Apart from the choices above and the ability to participate in TWO unique Mothers’ Day Photo Challenges, everything remains the same.

The friendly community guidelines are pretty simple:

  • The shot should be a new shot you took for the current weekly theme, not something from your back catalog or someone else’s image.
  • Don’t leave home without your camera. Participating in the 2018 Trevor Carpenter Photo Challenge is fun and easy.

I'm a Location Scout, Editorial, Nature, Wildlife and Environmental Photographer based in Malibu, California. I specialize in Nature and Urban Nature photography including Infrared Landscapes. The Bulk of my work takes place in the Los Angeles, California area, Greater Montreal Region, Canada, Switzerland, France and Varese in Northern Italy.
