2009 Challenge, Day 326: MOON

Today is Sunday, November 22nd, 2009. Today’s theme for the 2009 Challenge is MOON.

The last several evenings, the beautiful moon has caught my attention. It’s been low on the horizon, here on the coast of California.

So, this evening, I’d love for you to let me see what the moon looks like where you’re living.

You’ll probably need a tripod, or some way to make sure your camera stays VERY still. If you don’t have a wireless or cable shutter release, you can just use your timer. Also, if the atmosphere gives your moon a color cast you don’t like, just convert it to B&W.

Once you’re ready to submit your work to Flickr, you’ve got to do two important things. First, make sure you tag your photos correctly; “2009challenge″ and “2009challenge326“. Also, if you haven’t already, join the PhotoChallenge group on Flickr. Then, submit each day’s photo to the group’s pool.

About Steve Troletti

I'm a Location Scout, Editorial, Nature, Wildlife and Environmental Photographer based in Malibu, California. I specialize in Nature and Urban Nature photography including Infrared Landscapes. The Bulk of my work takes place in the Los Angeles, California area, Greater Montreal Region, Canada, Switzerland, France and Varese in Northern Italy. Ethical wildlife photography is the main priority and focus of my work. A minimum disturbance of the animals, their habitat and the environment is my top priority. This applies as much to total wilderness areas as it does to urban nature environments. Ongoing education of environmental issues and building awareness for the protection of wildlife and wilderness areas around the world is what drives me to document the beauty that surrounds us.
