2009 Challenge, Day 172: FATHER

"Father and son surf lesson in Morro Bay", by mikebaird

Today is Sunday, June 21, 2009. Today’s theme for the 2009 Challenge is FATHER. It may seem a bit cliche to have to photograph your father, on Father’s Day, but it’s not. Let me tell you why. I’m not just interested in your father. Many of you might not be able to photograph your father today. No problem. Let’s see a nice portrait of any important father in your life. Any man who is a father, and is important to you, photograph him.

Once you’re ready to submit your work to Flickr, you’ve got to do two important things. First, make sure you tag your photos correctly; “2009challenge″ and “2009challenge172“. Also, if you haven’t already, join the PhotoChallenge groupon Flickr. Then, submit each day’s photo to the group’s pool.

About Steve Troletti

I'm a Location Scout, Editorial, Nature, Wildlife and Environmental Photographer based in Malibu, California. I specialize in Nature and Urban Nature photography including Infrared Landscapes. The Bulk of my work takes place in the Los Angeles, California area, Greater Montreal Region, Canada, Switzerland, France and Varese in Northern Italy. Ethical wildlife photography is the main priority and focus of my work. A minimum disturbance of the animals, their habitat and the environment is my top priority. This applies as much to total wilderness areas as it does to urban nature environments. Ongoing education of environmental issues and building awareness for the protection of wildlife and wilderness areas around the world is what drives me to document the beauty that surrounds us.
