2009 Challenge, Day 23: FILL THE FRAME

"SF", by Thomas Hawk

Today’s theme for the 2009 Challenge is FILL THE FRAME.

It’s not that hard, just make sure your subject fills the whole frame. Try not to just crop down a shot, but actually capture the whole thing in camera. Be aware that your exposure will vary a bit from how you would shoot the same subject from a wider angle.

You may find that using a zoom lens, will help you reach out and capture something a bit easier. However, that traditional macro also fits the bill.

Once you’re ready to submit your work to Flickr, you’ve got to do two important things. First, make sure you tag your photos correctly; “2009challenge″. Also, if you haven’t already, join the PhotoChallenge group on Flickr. Then, submit each day’s photo to the group’s pool.

About Steve Troletti

I'm a Location Scout, Editorial, Nature, Wildlife and Environmental Photographer based in Malibu, California. I specialize in Nature and Urban Nature photography including Infrared Landscapes. The Bulk of my work takes place in the Los Angeles, California area, Greater Montreal Region, Canada, Switzerland, France and Varese in Northern Italy. Ethical wildlife photography is the main priority and focus of my work. A minimum disturbance of the animals, their habitat and the environment is my top priority. This applies as much to total wilderness areas as it does to urban nature environments. Ongoing education of environmental issues and building awareness for the protection of wildlife and wilderness areas around the world is what drives me to document the beauty that surrounds us.
